Urgent Care Tips: Preventing Swimmer’s Ear this Summer in Santa Clara

This summer season, the Santa Clara Swim Club is all set to welcome people who are looking for a worthwhile activity. Swimming isn’t just good for the health. It’s also a fun way to enjoy summer. If you’re interested, you can inquire at the club about their swimming lessons and upcoming events. However, you need to prepare yourself for the risks that frequent swimming exposes you to. One of them is swimmer’s ear, or Otitis Externa. This is an infection in the ear canal caused by bacteria and fungi that you can get from the water. Because too much exposure to water moistens your ear canal, these bacteria and fungi can find their way into that area and infect it.

Santa Clara Urgent Care Gives Stretching Tips for The Firehouse Run

The 2016 iteration of The Firehouse Run in Santa Clara is going to be a great avenue not only to build their sense of community, but also to get some good workout. Not only that, but it’s also a fantastic way to show your support the Santa Clara Unified schools through the Santa Clara Firefighters Foundation. While the official date has yet to be determined, though, it’s never too early for you to get started on your training, especially if you intend to join the 5K family walk or run, or the 10K running event. Before you go dashing for the finish line, though, your Santa Clara urgent care center urges you to do some stretches first.
