Then, there’s Halloween, the one day of the year when you can be as spooky as you desire. With the cooler weather, though, comes a cascade of falling leaves; it’s raking season again.
This chore is nothing new for people living in the Santa Clara area. What you might not know, however, is that raking leaves can be a risky task. In 2006 alone, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that around 76,000 people were treated for injuries related to using non-powered garden tools, including rakes.
